We are truly living in a wonderful time. More and more we are beginning to realize our own divinity; to realize that it is done unto us as we believe; to realize that there is a Power in the universe for good; to realize that we are all made from the same stuff, the same energy; to realize that happy thoughts lead to a happier body chemistry; and  to realize that we have more in common than we are different.  The reality is that the secret has been out since the beginning of time and is finally making its way into main stream consciousness in palatable, practical ways where it will benefit anyone that chooses to employ it. 

At the RSCD Spiritual Center we believe  in you and in your innate spirituality.  We believe that you  have the power to change your life - if you so choose.   We are here to encourage you and support you on your spiritual journey.

The Church of Religious Science is the institution that  gives form to the teaching known as Science of Mind, the  name of the book written by Dr. Ernest Holmes in 1926. It's the basis of Science of Mind as a science, philosophy  and religion.  As a science, it's based on specific universal principles now being proved by the world's scientists. As a philosophy, it's a simple, practical and down-to-earth way of better understanding the nature of the  Universe and our relationship to it.  As a religion, Religious  Science is a straightforward approach to the Universal Truths found in most religions. It's  more than just a teaching – it's a spiritual way of life.

“It is done unto you as you believe.”

Religious Scientists believe, very simply, that the Universe is fundamentally spiritual – it has    intelligence, purpose, beauty and order. Our beliefs are in harmony with the basic tenets of all the world's great religions. Whether we call it God, Spirit, Energy, or Universal Intelligence, every person, place and thing emanates from this Spiritual Universe. We believe this Universal Intelligence is within us, as well as around us, and that we are conscious of it.

Religious Scientists believe that God is a loving Infinite Intelligence, operating through and in all of life, never separate from anyone or anything. Through classes and study we come to understand our oneness with this indwelling Divine Presence. The way of life we teach and practice is learning how to live in accordance with spiritual principles. These principles, or metaphysical laws, are as reliable as the laws of physical science.

In the scientific aspect of Science of Mind, we believe there are spiritual laws which operate in the Universe as Cause and Effect. We teach that, “It is done unto you as you believe.” Our thinking and our expectations create our reality. It is in studying and applying spiritual laws that we can change our unconscious beliefs and create improved conditions in our lives.
